Downsizing and Lou Reed.

Thu Aug 21, 2008, 2:20 PM
  • Mood: Yearning
  • Listening to: Caroline Says II by Lou Reed
  • Reading: Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe
  • Watching: Lou Reed videos
  • Eating: Mick Jagger
  • Drinking: David Bowie
I deleted over half of my deviations. So that's why the number of deviations went down from 77 to 25. So in case you were worried. I downsized.

I would also like to make you aware of the King of New York, because I really, really love to pay homage to him.
Lou Reed.
[link] Something newer from him, a collaboration with the band, the Killers.
[link] It's Lou getting into his music.
[link] A VU song.
So, um yeah. I don't know what spurred this on, but listen to Lou.

I wish i was a Warhol silkscreen
Hanging on the wall
Or Little Joe, or maybe Lou
I'd love to be them all.
Then all New York City's broken hearts
And secrets would be mine
I'd put you on a movie reel
And that would be just fine.

Yesh. He is one of the best songwriters I know. He's up there with Bob Dylan.
